Music

The diversity of De Coolsingers is exceptional. They have mastered Repertoire ranging from two-part up to eight-part pieces, in which the highest part is reserved for counter tenors. This makes the choir unique in its kind. On occasion, various parts are reserved for soloists. Music is carefully selected to represent different styles in music, ranging from mediaeval compositions to contemporary arrangements.
Performances are organized independently or on invitation of other choirs. Since 2005, it is the choir’s objective to organize larger-scale projects for which additional men, women or orchestral ensembles are invited. In addition, the choir will continue its a capella performances.
